Sky Ports Welcomes MV PAROSHIP, the Largest Multipurpose Dry Bulk Carrier to Dock at an Egyptian Port

East Port Said Port welcomed the MV PAROSHIP alongside the Sky Ports terminal berth, marking the arrival of the largest multipurpose dry bulk carrier ever to dock at an Egyptian port — a milestone that reflects the continued growth of the port’s operational capabilities and the readiness of its infrastructure to receive mega vessels.

The vessel is carrying cargo estimated at approximately 180,000 tonnes, surpassing the largest vessels previously received at the port and confirming the efficiency of its berths, the availability of adequate water depths, and the operational readiness of the Sky Ports terminal.

Growing Confidence in East Port Said

In this context, Mr. Walid Gamaleldin said that the arrival of the MV PAROSHIP is a clear reflection of the development taking place across the Authority’s ports, affirming the growing confidence of global shipping lines in the capabilities of East Port Said Port.

For his part, Mr. Tarek Hussein noted that receiving the MV PAROSHIP marks a milestone for the Sky Ports terminal, reflecting the strength of its infrastructure, its operational readiness, and the port’s ability to handle mega cargoes in line with the highest international standards.

The event reinforces Egypt's position as a regional and global logistics hub capable of keeping pace with international shipping trends.
